These Official Event Rules apply to all tournaments, competitions,
workshops, hackathons, sports events, and other activities organized by
The Wizards Club, Graphic Era Group of Institutions.
By registering for or participating in any Wizards Club event,
you acknowledge that you have read and agree to comply with these rules.
1. Eligibility
- Participation is open only to eligible participants as specified in the event guidelines.
- Unless an event is marked as Open, participation is limited to currently enrolled GEHU students.
- Participants may be required to verify their identity or student status before or during the event.
2. Registration
- Registration must be completed through the official registration portal before the announced deadline.
- Incomplete, inaccurate, duplicate, or fraudulent registrations may be rejected.
- Each participant may compete for only one team per game unless explicitly permitted.
3. Event Participation
Participants are expected to:
- Report to the venue or online lobby at the scheduled reporting time.
- Follow all instructions issued by tournament officials and event staff.
- Comply with all event-specific rules and game regulations.
- Respect match schedules and check-in requirements.
Failure to comply may result in forfeiture or disqualification.
4. Fair Play
The Wizards Club maintains a zero-tolerance policy
against unfair play.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hacks, cheats, exploits, macros, scripts, or unauthorized software
- Smurfing or alternate accounts used for unfair advantage
- Account sharing or impersonation
- Match fixing, collusion, or intentional manipulation of results
- Exploiting bugs or technical issues
Confirmed violations may result in disqualification,
suspension, or permanent bans.
5. Code of Conduct
- Treat fellow participants, spectators, volunteers, faculty, and staff with respect.
- Maintain professional behaviour both online and offline.
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, abusive language, threats, or disruptive conduct.
- Respect University property and event venues.
The Wizards Club reserves the right to remove any participant
whose behaviour negatively affects the event.
6. Event-Specific Rules
Each event may publish additional rules covering:
- Tournament format
- Match procedures
- Maps and game modes
- Technical settings
- Tie-break procedures
- Prize structure
Event-specific rules take precedence wherever applicable.
7. Results & Prizes
- Results become final after verification by tournament officials.
- Prize distribution is subject to eligibility verification and compliance with all event rules.
- Prizes may be withheld or revoked if rule violations are discovered.
8. Administrative Decisions
The Wizards Club reserves the right to:
- Interpret and enforce these rules.
- Investigate disputes and rule violations.
- Modify schedules or formats where necessary.
- Suspend, disqualify, or ban participants for misconduct.
All decisions made by the organizing committee are final.
